Cheese meets KORN

My mini-radio tour has taken me across the country. The beauty of a radio tour is that you never have to leave the comfort of your home. You just pick up the phone and you're on the air live in places like Mitchell, South Dakota, a place I've never visited. Like last week, when I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Clayton Mick for his Let's Talk show on KORN 1490 AM. Now you can hear that 10-minute interview - and you don't have to visit Mitchell, South Dakota, either. Simply download the interview here

Follow my radio tour here. Tonight's stop: El Paso, Texas.

CHEESELAND: a "definite must read"!

Earlier today, I read a quote about book reviews. The author, whose name unfortunately I don't recall, said that she doesn't pay attention to them because if you believe the good ones, then you have to believe the bad ones, too. The author has a valid point, but I don't believe she ignores all reviews of her books. Heck, many of them, at least the flattering ones, are hard to avoid. They're all over the book and on the Amazon sales page. How can you possibly ignore them all? And the sad thing is, she'd be missing out on the good feeling you get when you do read a positive review, like this one, the first full-fledged review of CHEESELAND, by Fran Lewis, who calls it a "definite must read," a book that should be read by all parents and educators. I don't know Fran Lewis, but she made me smile today. That's a smile I would not want to have missed out on.

Win a NOOK at my book signing!

My first bookstore signing is Saturday, and to make it extra special I'll be raffling off a NOOK Simple Touch. The bookstore is the Barnes & Noble at Woodfield Plaza Shopping Center, 590 E. Golf Road, Schaumburg. I'll be signing copies of Cheeseland. Buy a copy and you will be entered in the raffle. How simple (and sweet!) is that? Check out the official store announcement for all the details.
